About

Started in 2019 in tech support and spent four years looking after the IT infrastructure of a school in Campo Formoso, Bahia. That is where the first production system was built: SGA, which moved enrollments, grades and attendance off paper.

Freelance backend developer since 2024, delivering complete products solo: API, database, supporting frontend and infrastructure. Currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Uninter and writing on the blog about software engineering and complex systems in nature, from the deep ocean to the Cassini probe.

GoVibee

A hyperlocal guide to nightlife, bars and events in Juazeiro and Petrolina, live at govibee.com.br. A two-sided marketplace with a Flutter app (Android and web), a React partner dashboard and a FastAPI backend, designed, built and run solo.

Academic Management System (SGA)

A fullstack system for school management: students, teachers, classes, enrollments, grades and attendance in one place. The first version was built for a school, where it replaced paper records.

Experience

    Backend Developer

    Freelance · remote

    • Two own full-stack products, from idea to production: GoVibee (live at govibee.com.br, with a Flutter app, a React dashboard and a FastAPI API) and Servicentos (Next.js and FastAPI, ready to launch).
    • One-command deploys with tests, a backup before every migration, health checks and automatic rollback, tested in production.
    • Python and Go microservice that took over the heavy processes of a legacy system (~40% gain, as reported by the client).
    • REST APIs with PostgreSQL and MySQL, with unit and integration tests.

    Using AI

    • GoVibee, Servicentos and this portfolio were built with Claude Code and ChatGPT, spec first and code second.
    • On Servicentos, every module's prompt starts from a fixed context of stack and rules: RFC 7807 errors, JWT in HttpOnly cookies and no sensitive data in responses.
    • Claude Code agents with skills and MCP to plan, review code and prototype screens in Paper.
    • AI speeds things up, but a human makes the decisions: GoVibee has ~450 automated tests, and the deploy only ships when they pass.
